Frequently Asked Questions

What is your therapeutic approach?

My treatment is informed by current evidence based therapies, and yogic and meditative practices.  However, I approach every individual and group in a manner befitting of their unique needs, and work in a collaborative way to develop a relationship which is supportive of my clients' wishes and goals.

Do you provide telehealth services?

I am currently offering both in-person and telehealth counseling sessions.  In-person sessions are subject to change given the ongoing public health crisis.  Please let me know if your clinical needs indicate the necessity of in-person sessions, and I will be happy to discuss with you whether those needs can be accommodated.

Do you accept insurance?

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna insurance.   If I am outside of your network, I am happy to provide Superbills so that you may use your Health Savings Account or submit them to insurance for reimbursement.  However, I cannot guarantee that any session will be reimbursed because each insurance plan is different.

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation is requested.  Clients who cancel within 24 hours or fail to show up for their appointment will be charged for the cost of the service.

What are your rates?

My standard rate for individual counseling and consulting services is $125 per 55 minute session.  My goal is for therapy to be accessible to those who choose to participate.  If you experience financial hardship, we can work together to create a fee structure that makes our work financially possible and sustainable for you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, checks, and Venmo at this time.  Payment is due at the time of the session.
